A StorySlam is more than a storytelling competition. It’s an invitation to share five to eight minutes of your life in a room full of people who appreciate a well-told tale. Audience storytellers take to the stage with real-life stories. Each story needs to fit the holiday theme. The story may be about any holiday. Stories must be family-friendly, five to eight minutes long, and told from memory. Judging will be on the following: the theme, presentation, and timeliness. The top two stories will win prizes.
