The Early Learning Coalition’s FREE, family-friendly, literacy-meets-the-arts extravaganza is back in 2026!
Note: This year’s event will use a Pre-Registration system. All families MUST have a (free) ticket to enter.

We’re thrilled to return and reunite with our friends at SCF Venice for this joyful celebration! Set outdoors on the college’s lush, park-like campus, the event promises to dazzle once again with a unique blend of imagination, creativity, and discovery—all in one unforgettable morning.
Designed for Sarasota County children ages birth to five, Storybook Street collaborates with two dozen organizations to bring books to life with preschool pomp and circumstance. The event features art, dance, drama, music, movement, sensory play and more! Picture your child’s excitement as a book-themed spectacle unfolds right in front of their eyes. Books are distributed at each vendor booth, tangible keepsakes of the magic they just witnessed.
Each family will have an opportunity to walk away with 20 books, a swag bag of goodies as well as meaningful, memorable moments to help foster an early love of reading. Children are welcome to dress up as their favorite storybook character.

Estamos encantados de regresar y reunirnos con nuestros amigos de SCF Venice para esta celebración llena de alegría. Realizado al aire libre, en el hermoso y verde campus universitario, el evento promete deslumbrar una vez más con una mezcla única de imaginación, creatividad y descubrimiento—todo en una mañana inolvidable.
Diseñado para niños del condado de Sarasota desde recién nacidos hasta cinco años, Storybook Street colabora con dos docenas de organizaciones para dar vida a los libros con una auténtica ceremonia preescolar. El evento presenta arte, danza, teatro, música, movimiento, juego sensorial ¡y mucho más! Imagina la emoción de tu hijo mientras un espectáculo inspirado en libros se despliega justo frente a sus ojos. Los libros se distribuyen en cada mesa de los proveedores, recuerdos tangibles de la magia que acaban de vivir.
Cada familia tendrá la oportunidad de llevarse 20 libros, una bolsa de regalos y momentos significativos que fomenten el amor temprano por la lectura. Los niños están invitados a venir disfrazados como su personaje literario favorito.
