Join us on Sunday, November 17 at the Brownhelm Station Church from 1- 3 pm at 1355 Claus Road in Vermilion, to hear a whimsical story, "Hark! The Aardvark Angels Sing" by Teri Sloat read by Brownhelm Historical member, Sandra Lingler. Sandra loves the story about all these special 'aardvark angel' mail carriers who manage and deliver cards and gifts during the busy holiday time.
The old German Reformed Church building will be decorated for the Christmas season and a special table will be set up for children to write a 'letter to Santa'. All children are welcomed to attend with their parents and write about their wish list as note paper and envelopes will be provided. These letters will be put in Santa’s special mailbox at the church.
Refreshments will be offered as we all sing a few Christmas songs before the afternoon comes to a close. So mark your calendars and bring your little ones for this fun time! Please note there are no restroom facilities in this historic building. If the weather is wintry then the parking lot across from the church will be busy with the township’s snow plows, then the event will be rescheduled.
