Bring a Book. Swap a Book. Wear a Story.

Storybook Denim is a creative, hands-on bookish experience where stories come off the page and become something you can wear, carry, and keep.

Each ticket includes a denim tote and all decorating materials to create your own one-of-a-kind storybook piece using colorful illustrations, words, fabric, patches, and other book-inspired details.

Have a denim jacket, jeans, bag, or another denim piece you want to transform? Bring it with you and decorate that instead!

And because every great story deserves another reader, we’re adding a Book Swap. Bring a book, swap it for another, and leave with a new story to discover.

Guests will also have the chance to meet local children’s authors and visit The Lit Stop Mobile Bookstore throughout the event.

What to bring:Bring one book for the Book Swap. If you’d rather decorate something you already own, bring your favorite denim item from home.
