September Story Slam Theme: “Happy Birthday...or Not.”

Join us for what has become a very popular happening here in The Bay. Story Slam is our quarterly live storytelling event. It’s real-life storytelling on a theme. As you know, most people in the South have lots of stories. Who knows, you may be one of them. Each Slam features stories that are humorous, touching, revealing and poignant. And with every story told, we become more connected to those around us.
In honor of our nation's 250th birthday, we're looking at all birthdays. Start thinking about a standout birthday of yours, a pet's, a party you threw for someone else that went sideways, a year you were forgotten, a time you weren't invited to the cool kid's birthday and went with your bestie on an adventure that got you grounded. Who were you with? How were you changed? It's all fair game.
