It's never too early to start sharing books with your child, but it can feel daunting reading with a newborn or young infant. Surely they can't understand the story, so what's the point?Research suggests that sharing books and stories with babies can have so many benefits, including:

Now let's combine storytelling with baby massage, which is shown to have the following benefits:

In this workshop, as we make our way through the story, I will be teaching you corresponding massage strokes for you to perform on your baby as you follow along.
We will also learn some simple massage routines to go with well known songs and rhymes for you to use at home.
Come along for an informal opportunity to bond with your baby whilst learning a new skill and meeting new people.

**Please note, this is an introduction to baby massage - babies will remain clothed and no oils will be used.
