Get ready to be entertained, moved, and maybe even inspired as our talented veteran storytellers share their most memorable tales. Featuring the Story Extreme debut of a whopping 5 storytellers: the shockingly sensational Improv God himself, Shawn Westfall (Air Force); the crazy cool Kristy Taylor (Army); the always amazing Anthony Lane (Navy); the awe-inspiring Adrienne Vyfhuis (Army); & the next-level entertaining Nancy Harrity (Army); plus the rousing return of 3 audience favorites: the never-a-dull-moment Nick Baskerville (Air Force); the keep-you-guessing Kate Smart (Army); and the maverick Miles Keogh (family member.) Hosted by the Honorary Marine herself, Stephanie Garibaldi, and featuring music by the internationally renowned DJ MickNasty, who is a veteran himself.
Whether you're a seasoned fan of storytelling or a newcomer looking for a unique experience, this event is sure to captivate you. And it's way more entertaining than watching a parade. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind show!
Note: Tix are $15 in advance here through Eventbrite, but $20 at the door if not already sold out. Veterans can get into the show FREE, but please order your free ticket through Eventbrite here by using the code VETERAN to zero out the cost while still reserving your seat. DOORS OPEN AT 6:00 PM, and we encourage you to come early to grab pre-show dinner.
Murphy's is metro-accessible via the King St Station on the Blue Line, & parking is much easier than you'd think. There's a fair amount of street parking on Monday nights, plus multiple public parking lots within a few blocks of Murphy's that charge $5.
Warning: this venue is on the 2nd floor of Murphy's, and due to their location in historic Old Town, there are no elevators.
Our stories are crafted with adult audience members in mind, so we advise folks to bring kids or minors at their own risk. However, this particular show has pretty clean content--nothing R-rated, with only the occasional swear words. It's your call, but our opinion is that this show would be suitable for high schoolers and even middle schoolers.
