Word Up North's Story Explorer Day is coming to Skipton for the first time on Sunday 1 March 2026! Join us for a celebration of classic children's stories with exciting events and interactive activities for families with children aged 0-11 years.Come along to Skipton Town Hall to enjoy live events with authors Anna James, Kate Pankhurst, Jane Riordan and storyteller Gav Cross.
Make a Mad Hatter hat with Story Bees or a Jungle Book inspired shadow puppet with Indigo Moon theatre
Enjoy free storytimes and crafts at Skipton Library and hunt for Tigger, Pooh and Piglet all across town with our Winnie-The-Pooh family book trail!
