Stormwater Adventures Day

Ready to dive into the world of stormwater? Come hang out with us in person for a fun-filled day exploring how rain and runoff shape our environment. We’ll have cool activities, games, and plenty of chances to get hands-on and learn about keeping our water clean. Bring your friends and family for an adventure you won’t forget! Come anytime between 10am-2pm or sign-up for a tour at 10:30am, 11:30am or 12:30pm.
Stormwater BINGO
When you arrive, you will receive a stormwater BINGO card. Visit the different activity tables, information tables and demonstrations to get stamps on your BINGO card. If you get stamps in every slot of your BINGO card, turn it in for a prize!

There are a lot of ways our local waters get polluted. These hands-on activities will help all ages better understand what some of these pollutants are, and how we can help make sure we keep our local waters clean.

Walk The Watershed Tours
At 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County and Pinellas County Public Works will offer a guided "Walk The Watershed" tour where you will learn about the importance of Brooker Creek Preserve and understand the watersheds where you live. The tour will include a short, 1/4 mile walk and talk, a water quality sampling demonstration, and an interactive watershed pollution demonstration. Spaces are limited for these tours and you must register to participate.
