South Texas Off-Road Mountain Bikers (STORM) hosts this free monthly kid's ride on the dirt trails at McAllister Park. This is an excellent opportunity for parents and children alike to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding. Participants will meet at the McAllister Park practice fields parking lot near the bike skills course and pump track (https://goo.gl/maps/3w4oyB9vvkBN3XUG7), and the event will last from 9:00am – 11:30am.

- Trail-worthy bicycle
- Helmet
- Closed-toe shoes

This event is “weather permitting” and dependent on trail conditions to protect the trail system. Updates and cancellations will be posted on this Meetup group, the "STORM South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers" Facebook events page, and the STORM website events page (https://stormmtb.org/events).
Parents or guardians must sign a liability waiver for themselves and their child before the ride. Parents or guardians can accompany their child on the ride and, in some situations, may be required to do so.
