This week at Kehillah on the Beach, as we read Parashat Shemini, we are reminded how fragile and sacred life is, and how the Jewish people continue to rise, rebuild, and bring holiness into the world.
Just days before Yom HaShoah, we will be blessed to welcome Holocaust survivor Dr. Miriam Klein Kassenoff to share her remarkable story. As a small child she fled Nazi-occupied Europe with her family, eventually reaching freedom in 1941. Today she dedicates her life to teaching the next generation so that memory never fades.
Come pray, sing, listen, and be part of a community that believes stories matter… and that remembering is a sacred act.
