Best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in the Tony Award-winning musical Rent, Anthony Rapp has spent decades using storytelling to inspire conversations about love, loss, resilience, and advocacy. From bringing Rent from Off-Broadway to Broadway and later reprising his role in the 2005 film adaptation, to becoming part of television history as Lt. Paul Stamets in Star Trek: Discovery, Rapp’s career has left a lasting impact on audiences around the world.
During this special conversation, Anthony will reflect on his journey through Broadway, film, television, and beyond—including the experiences that shaped his bestselling memoir Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical “Rent.” Through personal stories of grief, hope, identity, and perseverance, Rapp highlights the power of using our voices, sharing our experiences, and creating meaningful change.
