This event will celebrate the rich tapestry of Black immigrant experiences in the DMV through powerful stories of resilience and liberation shaped by education. Centering the role of education as a bridge between cultures, this storytelling event will highlight how education has empowered Black immigrants to shape their identities, contribute to their communities, and fuel intergenerational progress.
Join KAMA DC and African Communities Together as we honor the legacy of education as a tool for liberation and progress during Black History Month.
