Wednesday January 14th 19:30-21:15Stories from the South Atlantic – the Falkland Islands and South Georgia – Josh Peck
Josh is one of our newest members. He was born and raised in the Falkland Islands, and has always had a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. Inspired by growing up surrounded by penguins and wide open spaces, he has been driven to explore. Building on an academic background studying international history at universities in England, he returned home to the Falklands to begin a local tour company combining his love of wildlife photography and storytelling.
Now working as a Naturalist and Historian for Expedition companies, mainly in the polar regions, Josh continues to share his experiences with the wider world and hopefully inspire others to be curious about our wild places.
This meeting will be in person in the Church Hall only. Refreshments will be available.
Unless stated, each meeting will take place at 7:30pm at St Nicholas’ Church Hall, The Broadway, Hengistbury Head, BH6 4EP.
Entry is free for CHOG members and £2:00 for non-members.
Refreshments will be available at each meeting.
