Stories from Southland

The inaugural Stories From Southland: Lessons in Liberation is focused on exploring freedom from the Black South Floridian perspective in honor of Juneteenth.

We'll screen eight films from local filmmakers, dive deeper with a filmmaker panel, host an activity to reflect on what freedom means to our guests, and then turn up during the afters to mingle.

This event is open to all of our community members -- allies included! Please be mindful that this event prioritizes Black voices at a time where erasure is the norm.

We'll have films, vendors, popcorn, and food for sale! We hope to see you there!
