Hosted by Lee Tucker, Stories & Songs takes you beyond the music and into the moments that created it. Hear the inspiration, the laughs, the heartbreak, and the behind-the-scenes stories that turned simple ideas into hit songs.
The evening begins with performances from Nashville songwriters Lee Tucker and J.C. Andersen, before award-winning hit songwriter Jason Matthews takes the stage.
Jason Matthews has written songs recorded by some of country music’s biggest artists, including Billy Currington, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Randy Travis, Chris Young, Craig Campbell, Julie Roberts, James Otto, and more. Throughout the evening, Jason will perform many of his songs while sharing the stories behind how they were written, pitched, and eventually became fan favorites.
Unlike a crowded Broadway bar, Buddy’s offers an intimate listening-room atmosphere where every seat feels close to the stage.
