This intensive course will be held on December 7th from 10:00-2:00pm. It will cover essential skills in Stop the Bleed and an Introduction to Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).Course Content:
Head-to-toe patient assessments
Hemorrhage control techniques (direct pressure, tourniquets, wound packing)
Maintaining a patient's airway using jaw thrust or head tilt chin lift
Airway inspection and management using adjuncts
Mechanical ventilation with bag valve mask and chest seals
Circulatory system management and shock treatments
Casualty evacuation procedures
This hands-on course emphasizes practical skills without relying on PowerPoint presentations. Participants will engage directly with the material, including detailed discussions on anatomy and physiology.
