Stone tools were among the first used by early humans and have been used worldwide until relatively recently in our history! Everything from carpentry to animal butchering was accomplished using blades made from stones like flint, quartz, and obsidian. Come and learn the process of making real stone tools hands-on, for crafts, woodwork, survival, and gardening! Along the way, we will also learn about the history of their creation by humans throughout history, and their importance for modern day archaeologists in furthering our understanding of the past.
