Stone Harbor Museum August Kids Day: Swiftie Edition Celebrating 20 Years of Taylor Swift's Debut!
Calling all Swifties, big and small! Join us at the Stone Harbor Museum for a Kids Day like no other as we celebrate 20 years since Taylor Swift released her very first album in 2006 back when today's parents were making friendship bracelets the first time around at Just Bead It while Taylor was singing at Coffee Talk!
Kids can craft their own friendship bracelets to trade and share, design sparkly era-inspired art, and strike a pose at our photo station. We'll have music-themed games, a "My Own Era" activity where kids imagine their own album cover, and plenty of shimmer to go around. Sequins, cowboy boots, and favorite era outfits are enthusiastically encouraged!
And in true museum fashion, we'll take a fun look back at what life was like 20 years ago because yes, 2006 is officially history now.
Free and open to the public. All ages welcome; activities best suited for ages 4–12. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
