Stone Cleaning Orientation & Demonstration

The headstones and markers at Elmwood Cemetery are beautiful and delicate. We invite you to join us for this special Stone Cleaning Orientation & Demonstration to learn the proper techniques for gently and carefully cleaning the stonework in the cemetery.

The Stone Cleaners of Elmwood Cemetery are a properly trained, very small, and highly-coordinated group of dedicated volunteers. Led by volunteer Sheena Barnett (who has cleaned over 500 markers and monuments herself), this class is required before joining the Stone Cleaners Group.

Space in the class is exceptionally limited. You must be able to sit on the ground, kneel, carry equipment, take directions, and work independently. There is no cost to join.
