Based on the true story of legendary big-wave surfer Jay Moriarity, Chasing Mavericks follows a young surfer's journey to conquer one of the world's most powerful and dangerous waves at Mavericks, California.
With breathtaking surf footage, themes of courage, mentorship, perseverance, and a deep connection to the ocean, this is a film that will resonate with surfers and non-surfers alike.
This special screening is a fundraising event to support our local club and help us continue delivering surf events, youth development opportunities, and a thriving surf community.
