Aerial hoop is known for impressive gravity defying moves, beautiful flows and strong holds. This class is for those either starting out or with hoop experience, we will be building on your abilities to gain strength, get fit, and perform new moves and sequences. Moves, flows and sequences will be more challenging than in our beginners class, and you will start to devise your own routines and understand the mechanics of aerial hoop in this group.This class is suitable for students aged 7-15 years. This is an all abilities class, open to beginners or those looking to progress their aerial skills. Our aerial arts classes have a 21 stone/133kg weight limit. We share equipment between a maximum of 2 students in all our aerial circus disciplines for maximum air time.
This is a more challenging physical class than traditional yoga, please get in touch if you have a health condition that could limit your participation. If you are reasonably fit and healthy (able to climb stairs, lift a heavy box, walk unaided then this class should suit most people). This class is not suitable to begin if you have active current vertigo, herniated or bulging spinal disks, glaucoma, arthritis which significantly limits your grip, are currently pregnant with no previous aerial experience or are within 6 weeks of giving birth. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive studio and welcome students beyond these safety limitations regardless of body type, fitness levels, physical limitations or disabilities or other restrictions. A free carers place is available for anyone who requires assistance to access our classes and is in receipt of middle or higher rate DLA or PIP.
