In a world that can feel increasingly divided, let’s come together the old-fashioned way — through conversation, creativity, and community.
About this Event

Join us at Historic Russell School for a No-Sew Community Throw-In, inspired by the spirit of traditional quilt circles where neighbors gathered, shared stories, and strengthened bonds. No sewing skills (or sewing at all!) required. Together, we’ll create beautiful no-sew fleece throws while enjoying meaningful conversation and connection.

Each participant will receive a set of thoughtful conversation cards — light, reflective, and inspiring prompts designed to spark understanding, laughter, and shared stories. Pull a card, share your perspective, listen deeply, and rediscover what connects us.

By the end of the event, we’ll complete 10 handmade throws, which will be available for purchase as part of a special fundraiser supporting the ongoing preservation and community programming at Historic Russell School.

Come for the creativity.
Stay for the conversations.
Leave woven a little closer together.

All materials provided. All perspectives welcome. Let’s create warmth — in more ways than one.

Refreshments and small bites are available for purchase.
