About this Event
In this charming workshop you'll use multiple techniques to create your own beautiful textile postcard. First you'll learn and use textile print-making techniques to create the main outlines, then move on to hand embroidery to add detail and embellish your designs.
The workshop focuses on the seasons, drawing inspiration from nature and folklore symbolism, and you'll be guided and encourage to create a unique design inspired by this theme.
Hat Works Café will be open, serving light lunches (available to pre-order before the start of the workshop), delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy and you’re welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
All materials are provided. Experience a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in our spacious cafe and studios at Stockport Hat Works. Enjoy the freedom to express yourself and feel the benefits of creativity, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and take home something to be proud of.
