The historic Des Plaines Theatre, in partnership with Ron Onesti, rolls out the red carpet for the premiere of The Voice That Rocked America – The Dick Biondi Story, a new documentary celebrating the man who helped define rock ’n’ roll radio in America. Biondi—famously the first DJ to play a Beatles record in the United States and a champion of countless music legends -- directed, filmed, and narrated by acclaimed Chicago filmmaker Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice. The documentary recently captured the “Best of Fest” award at the Route 66 International Film Festival (November 2025) and will be released nationally via streaming and DVD in 2026.
