Come along and cheer Michelle off as she starts Day 1 of her run to Port Melbourne, raising funds for Stillbirth Foundation Australia. Setting of from the Seacliff Beach carpark (by Peace Sculpture), at 7.30am, aim to get there prior to 7am for proceedings.If you wish to run a part of the start with Michelle, or any of the Day 1 course, the the map is posted in the comments. Please be aware that Day 1 is primarily on a trail and will entail a lot of hills.
Michelle will have 3 support stops *(approx times only)
These stops will only be for 5 minutes as she restocks nutrition.
Joans Pantry, Hawthorndene (18.5km) approx 9.45am~10am
Romona Rd, Stirling (31.3km) approx 11.35am~11.45am
Main St, Hahndorf (44km) approx 1.20pm~1.30pm
Arrive Finish Mt Barker (54kms) approx 2.30pm~3pm
PLEASE NOTE
If you wish to run with Michelle it is at your own risk and to ensure you have support in place to assist if you require help. Michelle's support crew will be following her and will not be responsible for other runners.
Depending on how far you intend to run, ensure you have water and a phone as you will be on trail and not always have access to facilities.
We encourage you to send Michelle messages of support throughout, but she will not be able to answer any messages while she is running.
