Still She Rises: First Community Gathering

Join us for the very first Still She Rises Community Gathering — a welcoming morning created for women who want connection, encouragement, and meaningful conversation in this season of life.

This gathering is designed to be both practical and personal. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, sharing refreshments, and talking about what we want this community to become and how we want it to feel.

We’ve already heard some wonderful ideas for what this community could include in the future: dedicated mornings for easy hikes followed by coffee or breakfast, a book club, guest-led chair yoga or rebounding sessions, spa days, and other simple ways to connect and enjoy life together. These are just some of the suggestions shared so far, and part of this first gathering will be hearing what resonates most and what kind of experiences women would love to build together. Looking ahead, we may even explore a women’s retreat or getaway in Sedona at the end of our first year — a beautiful place to gather, relax, and reconnect.

As part of the morning, we’ll also feature a short segment called Dollars & Sense with Veronica — a practical conversation focused on what women need to know before they need to know it. For this first gathering, Veronica will share a brief overview of what to expect for taxes in widowhood or singlehood in retirement.

We’ll also have a Sponsor Spotlight featuring Sherri Pimentel of Dry Tech Restoration, who is generously providing refreshments. Sherri Pimentel of Dry Tech Restoration will share practical tips to help you avoid common home issues — and what to do first if you ever find yourself dealing with damage.
