Still Parents - Pocket Anchors Workshop

Join the Whitworth’s Still Parents group for a calm and creative workshop led by lead project artist, Harriet Hall.

Together, we’ll be making Pocket Anchors — small, sensory objects that bring comfort and calm to the mind and body. Harriet will guide participants through mindful making techniques using simple, tactile materials, encouraging reflection, self-care, and creative expression.

Tea, coffee, and cake will be flowing to keep creative energy up, with space to share, connect, and take time for yourself.

This workshop is free and supported by Manchester Sands, as part of the Whitworth’s award-winning Still Parentsprogramme — a space for bereaved parents to come together through art and making.
