STI Awareness with METRO Charity

Our sexual health training program is designed to provide comprehensive education on sexual health and well-being. The training covers a range of topics to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their sexual health and support their service users. Key components of the training include: 

• Understanding STIs: Information on common sexually transmitted infections, their symptoms, and prevention methods. 

• Condom Use and Safe Sex Practices: Demonstrations on the correct use of condoms and discussions on various safe sex practices. 

• HIV Awareness: Education on HIV transmission, prevention, and the importance of regular testing. 

• Healthy Relationships and Consent: Discussions on building healthy relationships and understanding the principles of consent. 

• Accessing Services: Guidance on how to access sexual health services and resources for further support. 

• Fraser Competencies: Guidance on how to Fraser Competencies and how they relate to sexual activity. 

• Signposting Information: Information on local and national sexual health resources, clinics, and support networks.
