Stewardship Workday: Tree of Heaven Removal at the Confluence

Meeting location: 4214 Highland Farm Rd, Hillsborough, NC. We will meet at the main parking area, then carpool to a secondary access around the corner to start working. If you're comfortable driving a group, please clear out your car seats!

What to bring: A water bottle, closed-toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Feel free to bring your favorite work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, or tools!

What we bring: Extra water, bug spray, sunscreen, breakfast, granola bars, work gloves, and all the tools and equipment you'll need! If you'd like to make a donation to help cover the cost of these items, you can do so at this link.

What we'll be doing: Using hand tools and herbicide to remove invasive tree of heaven. You can still assist with this workday even if you are not comfortable using herbicide.
