Join us on Sunday February 8th at 1:00pm for our first invasive species removal work session of the year at Mill Pond Natural Area. We’re focusing on the removal of invasive trees and shrubs such as common buckthorn, honeysuckle, and Japanese barberry.No experience is necessary to participate. We’ll provide tools and training.
Please be advised that access to this property may be challenging for some because of terrain and the many dead and downed trees blocking routes in.
Parking for this event is at the east end of Chipp-A-Waters Park (1403 W. High St., Mt. Pleasant). The Natural Area is adjacent to the park.
