Stewardship Session: Coastal Gardening at Tiana

Join CCE Marine’s Back to the Bays Habitat Specialists and Educators in a unique hands-on experience preparing our new demonstrative coastal rain garden. This will include shaping sand dunes and planting various shrubs and dune grass. While working with native coastal plant species you will learn about their many important roles throughout this experience.

Please come prepared in clothes that you are ok with getting dirty. Also, bring gardening gloves and hand shovels if you have. (These will be provided, but supplies are limited.)

This is a great opportunity for high school students to get service hours!

This event is weather dependent. In the case of bad weather, we will postpone to Thursday, April 3 from 3:30 - 5 pm.
