Steve Somers: Big Rigs, Good Dogs, Old Barns, and Bootleggers - Folk Songs & Stories
Thursday June 18, 7-9pm
Tickets: $30
Location: Heritage Church
Join us for an unforgettable evening with award-winning songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Somers.
Originally from Prince Edward Island and now based in BC’s Lower Mainland, Steve captivates audiences coast to coast with folk songs and stories rich in real-life characters, heartbreak, hilarity, and humanity. Blending Americana, bluegrass, and East Coast influences, his performances are warm, dynamic, and deeply engaging — often sharing the stories behind the songs along the way.
From big rigs and good dogs to old barns and bootleggers, this is a night of music and storytelling that celebrates the humour, hardship, and heart of rural island life.
