Steve Jansen Presents: Pioneer Days in Lawrence

“It seemed almost as if we had got out of the world to get out here on the prairie, where you can see nothing as far as the eye can reach but the wide prairie.” - George Wilmarth

Join us as Steve Jansen, local historian and former director of the Douglas County Historical Society, shares stories about the people, landscapes, and struggles of Lawrence’s formative years.
