Our February workshop topic is "Business writing made easy: Words that mean business."
Writing for business is so much more than just stringing a few fancy words together, sending out a directive to your team, or writing a boring list of instructions. It is about communicating with purpose and inspiring action through strategic yet authentic storytelling. It's also about building trust and driving decisions.
And it touches everything. It could be the big stuff like proposals, contracts, reports, and job descriptions. But it's also the day-to-day stuff like social media posts, emails, replying to a negative review, and marketing content (blogs, white papers, newsletters, etc.). With any one of these, you could inspire your audience or lose them completely.
It's really that simple (or hard).
Steve's goal with this next workshop is to help attendees understand the importance of business writing, talk through their struggles, and then offer practical solutions to simplify what they're doing, communicate effectively, and craft content that hits the right tone and delivers results.
