Steps of Change is our annual fundraiser for Newark Homeless Outreach, a project of OhioCAN dedicated to embracing, educating, and empowering those affected by homelessness, poverty, or addiction. Each week, we serve about 90-150 people with food, clothing, medical supplies, hygiene items, and more. This family-friendly event features a memory walk around the square (stroller and pet friendly) to raise awareness for the unsheltered and honor lives lost to addiction in Licking County, OH. Those who have lost a loved one to addiction are welcome to bring a pair of shoes for the courthouse memorial. Enjoy a bounce house, kids’ activities, live music, food, raffles, resource tables, and plenty of surprises.
