Join Melanin & Manuscripts for a refreshing, feel-good experience where books meet movement. Steps & Stories is designed for those who love a good story but also want to get outside, connect, and move with intention.

We’ll gather at Brown’s Island and take a group walk along the scenic trails while listening to our own audiobooks. Whether you’re deep into your current read or starting something new, this is your time to press play and enjoy your story, your way.

This is what we consider immersive, low-pressure, and perfect for those who enjoy stories in a more dynamic way.

What to expect:

• A relaxed group walk at a comfortable, social pace (all fitness levels welcome)
• Time to listen to your audiobook of choice while moving through a beautiful outdoor setting
• Optional moments to connect, chat, and share what you’re listening to
• A vibe that’s equal parts wellness, community, and storytelling

What to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
