Stepping into Elderhood with Courage & Awareness
As we move into elderhood, life changes in many ways. We may notice changes in our bodies, relationships, circumstances, and in how we understand ourselves and our place in the world. This new and meaningful phase of life invites reflection, awareness, and discovery.
Stepping into Elderhood draws on reflective practices inspired by yoga to explore who we are now, what matters most to us, and how we want to move into the next chapter of our lives.
Through visualization, contemplation, and reflective practices, we will create space to look beyond the stories and expectations that society and culture may have given us. Together, we will explore questions such as:
~ Who have I been?
~ Who am I now?
~ How do I want to live the rest of my life?
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗱 and 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹 have spent many years practicing, teaching, and learning yoga at 𝗬𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗺. Now, as elders themselves, they bring personal experience and a deep appreciation for the possibilities of this stage of life.
Together, they invite participants to explore what it means to live consciously and fully as elders, in our bodies, within our families, and in our wider communities.
