Step Sisters Walk is partnering with Forsyth County Animal Shelter here in NC for Step Sisters Walk Dogs Day Out!
Twice each month, every other Wednesday morning at 8:15 AM, Step Sisters will head to the shelter, check out a dog, and take them on a walk together. The first walk will be at Reynolda.
These are not our own dogs—they’re shelter dogs who are waiting for their fur-ever families.
Every walk helps provide exercise, socialization, and exposure to potential adopters. Sometimes all it takes is getting a dog out into the community for someone to notice them.
After your time out with the dog, please fill out a “Pawgress Report.” You’ll share pictures you took of the dog you were matched with during your day out together and share a little about the dog’s personality. Then share it here and on your personal social media pages as well.
This is such a beautiful way to combine a few things we love: walking, dogs, and making a difference.
