Step into History: Historic Yates Mill Open House Tour

Join us for a fun and relaxing group outing at Historic Yates Mill County Park!

This open house tour experience is designed for young adults ages 18–35 with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Everyone will explore the beautiful park, learn about the historic Yates Mill, and enjoy time socializing in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What to expect:

• An Open House Mill Tour
• Historic interpreters will be available to talk about the history and inner workings of the mill and to answer questions
• Opportunities to socialize and connect with others
• A calm, outdoor setting with plenty of space to explore

Important details:

• Please wear comfortable walking shoes
• Bring water if you'd like and dress for the weather
• Support staff/caregivers are welcome to attend We can’t wait to explore with you!
