Yakima Valley College, in partnership with the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), will host a STEM Day for the public on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Glenn Anthon Hall, Building 4. Do you have a child who likes to experiment and explore the connections between math, technology, science and engineering? This free event will provide a host of hands-on activities, presentations and workshops for elementary and middle-school aged youth.
In addition to showcasing YVC’s program, OMSI will provide live demonstrations and bring 12 to 15 tables with science equipment and challenges guaranteed to thrill youngsters, perplex adults and offer an unforgettable science experience.
