Swansea's own Steffan Alun is Welsh-speaking bisexual comedian, who performs at the UK’s top comedy clubs. In 2025, his hugely-anticipated debut hour at the Edinburgh Fringe received a string of glowing reviews, and was awarded the Pegasus Award for Best Newcomer. He’s supported Elis James on tour, he’s a familiar face at the Machynlleth and Aberystwyth Comedy Festivals, and has been seen and heard on BBC1 Wales, S4C, Radio 4, Radio 4Extra and Radio Cymru.Hailing from the Rhondda Valley, Phil blends Welsh charm with observational and surreal humour, often riffing on social justice themes and audience interactions. His famous relaxed style and gentle voice, combined with sharp jokes and storytelling, have taken his comedy across the UK and Europe, and onto TV and radio.
