Not all teas are created equal and not all of them are technically “tea.” In this flavorful, hands-on class, we’ll explore the world of herbal infusions and decoctions, breaking down the difference between teas and tisanes.
You'll taste a variety of brews, learn formulation tips for both flavor and function, and discover how to create blends that are as medicinal as they are delicious.
We’ll also spill the (loose-leaf) tea on why grocery store bags just don’t cut it. From choosing the right herbs to mastering steep times and ratios, this class gives you the skills to make every cup count. As always, students will get recipes, instructions, handouts and take home the custom blend they create in class. Let’s steep some magic!
