Formed in 2024, the group is led by keyboardist and vocalist Steely Dean Angermeier and features a powerhouse lineup including bassist Tarik Ragab (Raze the Maze), guitarist Matt Blackett (Evertune Guitars), drummer/vocalist Eric Pollard (Actual Wolf), and a rotating cast of some of the best players around.
Known for their tight arrangements, jazz-infused solos, and dynamic live shows, Steely Dean has quickly built a reputation as one of Southern Oregon’s most exciting ensembles—blending rock, funk, and jazz energy into an experience that’s both musically deep and irresistibly fun.
