Set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, Steel Magnolias follows six strong, witty women as they navigate love, loss, and life’s biggest moments together. This beloved classic blends laugh-out-loud comedy with powerful emotional depth, offering actors the chance to create rich, memorable characters and meaningful connections onstage.
Please join us at Coligny Theatre in Hilton Head Island, SC for one or both Steel Magnolias audition dates: March 1 at 6:30pm and March 2 at at 6:30pm.
We are casting all roles and welcome performers of all experience levels. Strong acting skills, emotional honesty, and a willingness to work collaboratively are essential. The show will open on May 1st and close May 17th, running Friday-Sunday. Rehearsals will begin on March 23rd, Monday through Thursday starting at 7:00 PM.
