A cult progressive rock band, with roots in the 70s, that have somehow found themselves transported by time into the 21st Century.

Sheffield based May Days in Barcelona is the work of multi-instrumentalist Simon Clowes. Solo shows are based around Simon using 4 loop pedals simultaneously, to create a melodic wall of sound, with violins weaving over fuzzy shoegaze guitars and analogue synths. May Days In Barcelona’s sound draws from elements of Post-Rock, Minimalism and Baroque Pop but always with a focus on song-writing.
