Sunday May 25th is the start of National Trust Gunby Hall’s Rose Week when many varieties of beautiful roses will be blooming. All steampunks are invited to join us when East Coast Steampunks visit Gunby Hall. Steampunks will be promenading the grounds and inviting visitors to Gunby Hall to join in our fun Parasol Duelling and Cane Duelling non-contact games - bring your favourite canes & parasols to display and we will have some steampunk twirling and lunging in the courtyard at 11-12pm and 2-3pm.
With craft & trade stalls to peruse, the Victorian walled garden & 8 acres of formal gardens to explore, lawn games, the ancient and atmospheric St. Peter’s Church, Ice House Pond there will be lots to do and wonderful photo opportunities - and of course there are the beautiful rose gardens to wander. You can also tour historic Gunby Hall mansion house, timed tours are arranged from 11am at Gunby Hall on the day. Danté and I will be taking chairs, table and rug, and would love you to join us for a picnic, there is also a tearoom.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds.
Ticket admission covers the car park, Mansion House tour and Estate Gardens.
