Step inside the world of ski jumping with a behind-the-scenes tour during the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Wednesday Night Jump Series, where kids spend a Wednesday night doing something extraordinary.Led by an expert guide, you’ll get close up access to the jumps, learn how athletes train to fly, and watch young ski jumpers getting their start in the sport, competing under the lights.
This local event has been the starting point for many World Cup and Olympic Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined athletes, and continues to showcase Steamboat’s deep-rooted tradition of developing champions from a young age.
We’ll wrap the evening in the lodge where you can get a warm cocktail and a front-row view of one of Steamboat’s most storied, and uniquely local, winter traditions.
