STEAM Sunday: Paper Sculptures

STEAM Sunday is a space for elementary-aged kids to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities. This month, we’re putting our engineering skills to work by designing and building our own paper sculptures. Kids will experiment with how paper can be folded, shaped, connected, and balanced to create something that stands on its own.
We’ll also work together to create a community paper sculpture that will be displayed in the library. This is a great opportunity for kids to practice creativity, problem-solving, and the process of trying, testing, and redesigning. Caregiver participation is required.
This is a FREE event. No library card or registration required. Caregivers may need to assist and must remain in the library in accordance with the Library's Safe Child Policy.
