STEAM Potential Enrichment Camp (SPEC)

About this Event

SPEC is a STEAM-themed Summer Camp hosted by TeamUP Science designed for students in grades 8-12. Participants can sign up for one of four weeks featuring hands-on STEAM-related labs and activities with faculty staff and students. Topics include cybersecurity, microscopy, entomology, organic chemistry, astronomy, and much more!

Age:

The event is designed for ages 14+, but specifically targeted for grades 8-12. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions or would like for us to make an exception.

Times:

Participants will be at the University of Alberta campus from 9:00am to 4pm from Monday* to Friday (Please arrive around 8:45am for check-in!).
*Note: Each ticket date is the start date for the week. The week of August 4 will be a 4-day camp week due to Labor day on the Monday.

Locations:

All locations will be at various buildings at the University of Alberta North Campus. Check-in will be in the CCIS building most days, but we'll let you know if it changes!

Food:

Food will not be provided by TeamUP Science for this event. Participants are expected to bring their own lunch or can get food from various locations on campus.
